Contemporary style encompasses a range of styles developed in the latter half of the 20th century while modern is a strict interpretation of design that started in the 20th century. Characterized by clean, sleek lines and is marked by solid colors, predominantly muted neutrals or bold punches of color in furniture and minimal accessories.
